Terms of use

These terms define the rules for accessing and using Spot, a marketplace where clients can discover salons, view their information and book appointments when the feature is available.

Spot is operated under the Spot brand by BTI Labs. Spot Pro is the professional workspace used by partner salons to manage visibility, bookings and subscriptions.

Access to the Spot marketplace is free for end clients. Where booking without an account is offered, a client can complete an appointment without creating a Spot account; creating an account later remains optional.

Partner salons access Spot Pro under the conditions displayed in the professional workspace or subscription flow.

Users agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. They are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.

Spot may restrict or suspend access in case of misuse, attempted fraud, security risk or breach of these terms.

Booking a slot creates a relationship between the client and the partner salon. Spot acts as a technical intermediary for discovery, booking and communication.

Services, prices, availability, cancellation conditions, delays, no-shows and refunds related to a marketplace appointment are governed by the relevant salon policy when displayed before confirmation.

To book without an account, the client must provide accurate and usable information. The appointment is concluded with the relevant salon; Spot provides the search, booking and management infrastructure, while the salon’s displayed schedules, prices, services and rules apply.

The salon may contact the client about the appointment. Cancellation and reschedule rules may be presented before confirmation or, after booking, in the management flow; after the online cancellation cutoff, the client may need to contact the salon directly.

Spot sends a personal, secure link for managing the appointment. The client must keep it confidential and must not share it. Creating an account later remains optional.

The confirmation, management link, reschedule or cancellation notifications and pre-appointment reminder are communications necessary to perform and manage the booking, not marketing communications.

Paid Spot Pro subscriptions may be processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle then manages the transaction, certain tax handling, payment support and approved refunds for those orders.

BTI Labs is under the French VAT exemption regime: VAT not applicable - article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

Spot uses reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and secure, but temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, security or technical incidents.

Spot does not replace partner salons’ professional, legal, tax or operational obligations and does not perform the booked services.
